In an effort to strengthen relations and develop football especially in the Asian region, a delegation of senior sports officials from the People's Republic of China made a visit to the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam at FABD House in Berakas, 19th April morning. The delegation was led by Lu Yiwen, Deputy Director General of Guangxi Sports Bureau.

The delegation was greeted by Awang Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff, President of FABD and Awang Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni, Deputy President of FABD. During the visit, both sides discussed bilateral matters and explored areas for potential cooperation of mutual interest. The visit was among the programmes lined up in conjunction with the international football match between DPMM FC and Guangxi Pingguo Halio FC, a Chinese League One club, which will be held on 20th April evening, at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas.
